1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ClientPDF, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please simply close the application.

ClientPDF is a free, browser-based suite for manipulating PDF documents. Our entire architecture is built around local processing. We do not upload, store, or transmit your files to any server.

2. User Responsibilities

You may use ClientPDF for any lawful purpose. Because our tool does not upload your documents to our servers, we have no insight into what you are processing. Therefore, you are solely responsible for:

  • Document ownership: Ensuring you have the legal right to modify the documents you drop into the software.
  • Copyright compliance: Not using the service to alter or pirate intellectual property.
  • Data backup: Maintaining copies of your original documents before processing or compressing them.

You may not attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the proprietary WebAssembly payloads of the service, nor use automated scraping bots to hook into our processing pipeline excessively.

3. Disclaimer & Liability

ClientPDF is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of PDF manipulation results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClientPDF and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data if a document corruption occurs during local processing, loss of profits, or business interruption.

You acknowledge that you use ClientPDF at your own risk and rely on your own local backups for critical documents.

4. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue ClientPDF features at any time without notice, particularly as browser compatibility for WebAssembly evolves.

We may update these Terms of Service occasionally. Changes will be posted natively on this page. Your continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance.

Third-Party Services

ClientPDF displays infrastructure advertisements through Google AdSense to keep the service free. These non-intrusive ads are governed by Google's terms of service and minimal cookies are utilized purely for ad delivery.
