When we started, the goal was simple: provide local, secure PDF tools. The name "LocalPDF" made perfect sense.
As the web evolved, "client-side processing" became the industry standard term for running complex tasks entirely in the browser. Our new name leans into that — it's a more accurate reflection of the architecture and the absolute security guarantee we provide.
